I love it, but only because it appeals to my romantic side that maybe love is actually out there and it can work out against odds.
A clever, soppy romantic film about fate. Light hearted and sweet, I really enjoyed this!

Appalling, appalling, appalling waste of John Cusack, who must be regretting this career choice bitterly. Kate Beckinsdale must be one of the most annoying people since the history of time, what with her breathiness and inability to speak in whole sentences. Also, what's with the kooky chick nonsense? The film would have been vastly improved if - SPOILER ALERT - in the first ten minutes as the little sprite that was her character sprinted across the busy street to buy some gum for $5, she had been run over the bus that sadly, just narrowly missed her. Now THAT would have been a film.
I like a good chick flick once in a while, but the key word is GOOD. Most are pretty silly... and this one is kind of silly too, I guess, but it won me over anyway. Loved it.
Easily digestible at 90 minutes, this is one of the better rom-coms I've watched. Would definitely hit up all the NYC bookstores for a chance at Kate Beckinsdale.
