Aside from the incredible acting, breathtaking score and directing... The story is the most intriguing. The simplicity and innocence of Edward and his unselfish love and nature in combination with how shallow and cruel people can be show a contrast that we face in our lives every day. In addition, Edward is a true hero, sacrificing everything he wanted for the sake of the people he loves. His loyalty, heroic impulse, fearlessness, courage, unselfishness, boldness, gentleness and innocence is an example of what we should all strive to be.
This is a classic Burton/Depp film, Johnny Depp does a fantastic job of being the most loveable character in Tim Burtons strange old world.
It's been a long time since I've seen it but I remember it being an amazing film.
i remember when i first saw this as a little kid it was the single most terrifying thing i had ever seen. it still sort of is, in a way.
