Biography:
Growing up in New York, Penny Marshall was a fierce personality from the beginning- known in her family as the bad girl. After a few years in college and giving birth to her daughter she started her career in entertainment as an actor, most notably with the TV show "Laverne and Shirley". She has since found great success as a director, heading such well known projects as "Big" and "A League of Their Own".
