Justina Machado began her career on the stage with performances at the Latino Chicago Theatre. She went on to appear in <u>Blade to the Heat</u> and <u>Black Butterfly</u> at the Los Angeles’ renowned Mark Taper Forum.

For television, Machado has been featured in "ER" and had guest appearances on "Ghost Whisperer," "Cold Case," "Grey’s Anatomy," and "Ugly Betty," among others. She also starred in the pilot "I Love Lupe" for CastleRock. Recently, she starred in HBO’s critically acclaim... ... (read more...) ed, award-winning series "Six Feet Under." Soon after, she starred in the NBC comedy "Alpha Mom." She also stars in the upcoming ABC thriller <i>Fatal Contact</i> opposite Joely Richardson.
On the stage, Machado recently starred in the musical version of <u>The Mambo Kings</u> at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, for which she received rave reviews.

In film, she has had supporting roles in Steven Soderbergh’s groundbreaking film <i>Full Frontal</i> and in Nick Cassavetes’ <i>She’s So Lovely</i> alongside Robin Wright Penn and James Gandolfini. Her most recent film credits include <i>Final Destination 2</i> and <i>Torque</i> opposite Ice Cube. She will next be seen in Bertrand Tavernier's <i>In The Electric Mist</i> opposite Tommy Lee Jones.
