Absolutely Fabulous, although she was highly acclaimed for her troubled
teenager in Mike Leigh's 1990 film, Life is Sweet. More recently, she
appeared as
the singing heroine in Little Voice (1998) which was written especially for her. And also voice over work in Tim Burton's film Corpse Bride (2005).
