Felicity Kendall Huffman is an Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning American film and television actress, who is best known for her award-winning role in Transamerica and as Lynette Scavo on the hit ABC drama Desperate Housewives. Huffman's role as transsexual woman in the film Transamerica was praised by many critics and garnered her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress as well as nominations for the Best Actress (Screen Actors Guild) and Best Actress (Academy Awards). Huffman is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Huffman is also the author of the self-help book, 'A Practical Handbook for the Boyfriend.'
