Calliope "Callie" Thorne (born November 20, 1969 in Massachusetts) is an American actress best known for her role as Sheila Keefe, the 9/11 widow of Jimmy, who was the cousin of Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary) on Rescue Me.<br/>

Thorne studied Theatre and Dramatic Literature at Wheaton College in Massachusetts and at The Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.<br/>

In addition to Rescue Me, she has had guest spots on such series as ER (2005 - 2006), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2004), Law & Order: ... ... (read more...) Special Victims Unit (2003 - 2004), The Wire (2002 - 2004), Prison Break (2006), and others.<br/>

In 1997 and 1998 she also appeared as Det. Laura Ballard on the television series Homicide: Life on the Street.<br/>

She has also had many small roles in film and TV movies as well, but did have a starring role in Chocolate For Breakfast in 1998.<br/>

Thorne has also done work on stage, such as in the off-Broadway play The Country Club (1999), with Cynthia Nixon in New York City.<br/>

Additionally, she appeared with Eric Bogosian and Sam Rockwell in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (2005), directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman.<br/>

Callie is of Italian and Portuguese descent.<br/>
