I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
Ephesians 1:4-6
I. Prayer is __________ for the life of the church. We have to __________ be praying for each other.

1. Read through Ephesians 1:15-23. Prayer is necessary for our life with God. What are some of the blessings God has given you for which you should thank him How can you pray for your friends, family, and church?
2. Paul essentially prays that the Ephesians would grow in their knowledge in Jesus. What are some ways you can grow in your knowledge and love for God?
3. How would you define the word hope? How does the fact that Jesus is king over the world effect your hope of eternal life? How might it encourage your confidence in God.
