A great compilation of 52 key texts of Muslim modernist of 19th and 20th century. I have no regret buying it
A complete opposite to the idea of "Clash of Civilization". The best part is the story of Hayy ibn Yaqzan (what a name)!
Would be the best book to start reading Karen Armstrong's. My copy has an autograph of her on it... Great!
Pity that Muslims did not pay enough attention analyzing The Crusades as compared to the Western scholars from western perspective. This book fills the vacuum and I enjoy reading it. Thinking about doing my PhD in Edinburgh though
