The Host: A Novel
Stephenie MeyerIt was an interesting read. Funny thing is that parts of it are pretty cheesy, just like Twilight series but at the same time Stephenie Meyer has this knack or talent for getting you sucked into the story regardless of the initial cheesiness. Might have to read again eventually to discover what it is exactly about her writing that is so gripping. I find it absolutely fascinating!

The Nanny Diaries: A Novel
Emma McLaughlin and Nicola KrausI know it's totally cliche but the book was better than the movie. By all means watch the movie, but it becomes a better movie if you know the back story from the book.
