The Mists of Avalon
Marion Zimmer BradleyI was introduced to this book at the age of 16 by my aunts who are true feminists. I fell in love with it from chapter one. This is a long book so be prepared but the journey is so worth it. The retelling of the Arthurian legend from the point of view of the women behind the Camelot throne is what drives this book.

The garden is a mysterious world hiding a four hundred year old family secret. Through out the garden are statues and inscriptions. Through his research, Adam is able to connect the garden with what really happened hundreds of years ago, and flush out a more recent murderer.
This book is full of multiple mysteries, family intrigues, classic mythology, and Renaissance art.
The map of the garden in the front of the book is not worth the paper it is printed on, so use the internet to look up the renaissance art and the classic mythology referenced in this book.
A quick read, it is not the best murder mystery I have read but it is entertaining. (show less)
