  • Managing Martians
    Donna Shirley

A very interesting account of engineering in the space program, full of real-life suspense, humnor and wisdom.

  • How to Live on Mars: A Trusty Guidebook to Surv...

A very entertaining view of how life on Mars might be for humans in the early days of settlement. Much humor, amusing illos, interesting science showing how things would work. At same time, exasperatingly opinionated in places unless you completely agree with the "end justifies the means" philosophy of life, among other things. A unique and interesting book. A valuable critique of NASA, too.

Great story to satisfy Shakespeare buffs, alternate history fans, historical fiction fans... especially if you're all of those things. Wonderfully detailed view of life in Shakespeare's time, and a suspenseful tale of the dilemma of artists caught up in political pressures to produce content they don't agree with. A very satisfying story!
