Alexandra Ripleynot nearly as good as the original . . . ripley makes a good faith effort to stay true to the spirit of scarlett and she generally succeeds in the second half. however, in the first half, parts read more like a wannabe harlequin romance. also not enough rhett/scarlett interaction, which was a huge part of the charm of mitchell's original story.
