Sudhir VenkateshFantastic exploration of American poverty and the so-called "underground economy" people have created to survive. Venkatesh brings the reader on his own journey into the projects, explaining his actions and offering some insight. A real page-turner, but with a mere 8 chapters, I was left feeling like I had been kicked out of the projects, too.
