Gary L. ThomasChallenging book for married couples (and soon to be married couples). Encourages communication and wants us to think of marriage in terms of a spiritual discipline. Good book for this married couple (almost 20 years) to walk through with a small group of married couples. Highlighted some things that I am doing well and some things that still need work.

Michael ChabonNot what I was expecting. An interesting tale of a large community of Jews in Alaska who are wanting to usher in the reign of the Messiah, but the would be Messiah is a junkie who gets killed in an Alaskan hotel. Some fascinating insights into Jewish culture.

Khaled HosseiniThanks to everyone who told me this was a "must read". It is a "must read". Melancholy. Hopeful. Read the final 250 pages in 2 days. Couldn't put it down.
