Reviews I've Written

  • Hour to Live, an Hour to Love, An: THE TRUE STO...
    Richard Carlson

This is a quick read; I finished it in an hour. The love letter was nicely written by Richard Carlson, it's beautiful. I was expecting more, but it was still an enjoyable read. His words set me thinking about how short life is, and what really matters in life. It reminds us that we should never take our loved ones for granted that they will always be there. We should live and appreciate our lives and those we love.

  • A Million Little Pieces
    James Frey

A beautifully written memoir. The lives described in this book are incredibly relatable and very true to life. Unique and interesting style of writing. Pretty insightful.

  • 最後的演講 (The Last Lecture)
    Randy Pausch, with Jeffrey Zaslow

A slender book filled with life lessons that one should read. It is not a book about dying, but is a book about living. It might not make you a better person, but I believe it will make you think. Truly inspiring.
