First book of Scottoline's that I read. I like to start with an author's first book and go forward. I will continue on with her, but I have to say that this was a bit amateurish. It's good and moves along quickly but the identity of the stalker/murderer is farfetched, coming from out of the blue. It made no sense to me. I guess she threw enough red herrings to put me off the trail. Hopefully the quality of her writing will pick up as she seems very popular and promising.

I so want to like Coben, but this is the third book of his that I've read and I've come away from each one with the same feeling ... always a disappointment in the last few chapters. Great if you want a quick read to take on a plane or to the beach, but don't pick this one if you want something substantial.
