The Broom of the System
David Foster WallaceIn an interview, DFW mentions that the main character of this book is a self-portrait with a sex change. In other words, like most first novels it's a little self-conscious and not fully developed. Still mega-worthwhile, especially for those of you who go to school in Western Massachusetts.
