The Shipping News : A Novel
Annie Proulx, E. Anne Proulix, E. Annie Ready By Kimberly Schraf ProulxWow. This book is exactly the opposite of what I expected. It was addicting, and I completely loved Quoyle's journey towards a form of love he'd never known before. The writing style is completely original. Short and snappy with such deep bursts of truth spread throughout. It took some getting used to, but after the first chapter I was engrossed.
