Praveen Swami's book is not the easiest read, and prior knowledge of the Kashmir conflict is probably necessary to put his book in perspective. That aside, it was an interesting and fascinating history of sub-conventional violence In Kashmir since 1947. I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in South Asia, asymmetric warfare, or terrorism.
Lots of cool parts but overall... its kind of hard to relate to rapists and murderers.
It was well written and fascinating. My one complaint was that it ended inconclusively but this is non fiction and we can't choose the way things turn out in the end from a storytelling perspective. I am a big fan of Talbott.
This book revived my faith in capitalism and Muhammad Yunus is one of my Heroes.
Good points, but much of the book is redundant.
The future of Humanity in handy book form.
Any book that makes Schrödinger's cat jokes is a winner.
A book that has aged terrifically, very gripping, and also makes great use of in universe documents.
