Life of Pi by Yann Martel,

I read this amazing tale of shipwreck, survival, God and zoos on my oceanside vacation. It is imaginative, touching, surprising and engaging. I actually underlined passages, something I almost never do in a novel. But moments were so thought-provoking and lovely I wanted to go back and read them again.
