Nine Lives: Death and Life in New Orleans
Dan BaumI really enjoyed this true story of New Orleans, told thru glimpses of 9 real people and their life stories between Hurricane Betsy (1965) and Hurricane Katrina (2005). New Orleans is a unique, colourful place and it is worth reading about. I want to visit!

The Origin of Species
Nino RicciI really did not like this book at all. I tried to get into it but forced myself to about half way then skimmed the rest and gave up. What was the point of this story? Ug.
