Reviews I've Written

  • Brave New World
    Aldous Huxley

Pretty fuckin prophetic imo. The real reason it makes sense is because it is really NOT a distopia unless you have some kind of revolutionary/savage spirit. When i look around the the good ol' USOFA today I don't see much of that. I see people who are either content with the status quo, or who think they have problems so they use psychoactive chemicals distributed by the government to "alleviate" them. Scary shit for any malcontent/rebellious type of person.

  • The Grand Inquisitor: With Related Chapters fro...
    Fyodor Dostoevsky

Amazing, so condensed and just as potent as much longer stuff by Dostoyevsky

  • Absalom, Absalom!
    William Faulkner

AHH! it makes my brain hurt in such a good way

amazing...imo faulkner is the peak of this country's literature so far.
