The Plague
Albert Camuswhat can i say? read it.... i think each reader will have his/her own whirl of thoughts and emotions on reading this...about what it means to be human, to struggle against that which one has no control over & that seems senseless and absurd...

An End to Suffering: The Buddha in the World
PANKAJ MISHRAthe beginning one-fourth of the book was a bit of a drag for me but for some reason (well because of my recent interest in vipassana meditation) i persisted and then it got more and more involving. A good read... I found myself reflecting on my own experiences of the modern world, its enchantments and disenchantments as well as why i am drawn to vipassana mediation while also being somewhat ambivalent about it. it is also an exceedingly honest book.

Byline
M.J. Akbarparts of it were an interesting read, parts were somewhat boring... but got to say that m j akbar can be an entertaining journalist even while writing about important things.
