Love the One You're With
Emily GiffinIt started slowly, then picked up a bit, but then the ending fell flat for me. I much preferred "Baby Proof."

When You Are Engulfed in Flames
David SedarisI had never read a David Sedaris book before, and I was eager to find out what all the fuss was about. Overall, I found it mildly entertaining; I still prefer Bill Bryson's brand of humor. But I do plan to read earlier Sedaris books, which I've heard are better than this one anyway.

The Third Angel: A Novel
Alice HoffmanNot my favorite Hoffman book. The first part really dragged for me, but the second and third parts were better. Overall, I preferred "Skylight Confessions," which I read just a few weeks ago.
