Stephenie MeyerNot a bad beginning to what seems to be a good "saga." My mom actually recommended this one and sent it down from NY for me to read. It almost, *almost* read to me like Degrassi with vampires. :) I'm looking forward to the next one, but to me, the book still doesn't have quite the snazz and good writing like the HP books.

A. J. JacobsI enjoyed it, though it got quite long-winded at times. It's actually a decent book that you can pick up and put down a few weeks later and not have to worry about where you left off, because there's not really so much a plot as there are vignettes.
