I agree, that you have to be in the right place in your life to truly appreciate the book and implement the lessons into your own life. I wasn't ready until reaching a certain point in my life when I finally said, Ok, it's time. And I'm glad I did! It is so simple and basic yet profound in it's own way and can really have the ability to change one's life, if you allow it to and are open to following through on the teachings.

I also decided to read the 8th Habit FIRST, and am now going to read the 7. I work that way though - I like to see the big picture before I understand how it all fits together.
