Sigrid UndsetA fantastic book, that gives you insight into daily life in Norway of the 1300s. Although the translation is difficult to follow at first, you get used to the archaic terms soon enough and they add to the illusion that you are reading a Norse Saga. I "trow" anyone interested in Norway or the Middle Ages, or just epic historical fiction will love this book.
