Wonderful book, had to read it before I saw the movie. Reminds me of my dog Rumpelstiltzkin, a lab/german sheperd that likes to run crazy figure eights in the backyard.
Cute, but a little too predictable and I don't like that the book cover gives away the ending.
I did not like this book. I live in the mid-west and this book really only applies to women who live in a big city. A lot of the tips were too much for my friends and I. I never finished the book because I felt as if it was a waste of time. I didn't need to know how to be super classy around my friends and family, we are more down to earth. Much of the information in the book did not apply to my lifestyle as a mid-western girl who grew up in the suburbs and then moved to the country. If they made a book more about every-day women then I think it would be much more helpful.
good but reads at a little slower pace than the first two in the series.
Not as good as the other two, something borrowed and something blue. I didn't seem to follow the story line.
Great book as well, good to see it from the other person's perception.
This is a good start to a series. Its about a powerful woman from the south and how she handles everything after her husband passes away. Not a sad story though...she is a rich widow and everyone is trying to take advantage of her because they all want her money.
I loved the insight from a child in afghanistan, a book everyone should read.
