Much better than the movie, although the movie followed it quite closely. Sirius Black is an amazing character, he and Lupin are quite possibly the best duo to exist in this series.

This was a great read. I found the main character to be very likable and I wanted her to win at everything she did. It didn't matter if she was playing the underdog or the best friend, Miri was driven and knew what she wanted in the end. No character outside the bandits was truly black or white, and there were twists and turns in this novel that I never would have expected.
