I chose this as a summer read. It's an interesting look at circus life during the Great Depression. A dual narration allows you to see the main character's life as both a young and old man.
This is such a lovely book. I adore almost anything British, and period pieces are my favorite, so as you can imagine, this book fit the bill perfectly.
I read this for a faculty book seminar. While some may find the material text-bookish, I thought much of the information about the Belgian Congo was fascinating.
I read this for our campus' yearly reading project. It's very informative and will change they way you look at food and eating.
A wonderful book about finding love, knowing yourself, and forgiving yourself your faults.
