Great introduction into Sookie's world (soon to be on HBO no less). Maybe a good alternative for those of us adults that like Stephenie Meyer as well.

Very good ending to the trilogy. But I wish that more of the villains would have had more spectacular and awful deaths, but oh well. You can't have everything.
Totally not what I was expecting. It's like intending to drive to Canada and ending up in Tijuana. It wasn't awful but I wasn't thrilled with the way that she wrapped everything up. I also was concerned about what her message was . . . totally not what I would want a 13 year old girl to be thinking about.
Great conclusion to the story lines started with The Eight. A new classic.
A great read. This fictionalized account of First Lady Laura Bush's life is sure to ruffle some feathers but should in no way be considered derogatory. Sittenfeld paints a very true to life (amidst all of the gratuitous sex) picture of what life is like being married to a politician and still attempting to be your own person.
Such a departure from his traditional mysteries, but if this is what happens when Lehane writes mainstream fiction, then he should do it more often. Totally engrossing and so easy to get lost in.
A new classic. Too bad I was in diapers when it first came out, but I took the plunge in anticipation for the sequel and wasn't disappointed. Very cerebral and smart.
