A diverse cross-section of women's studies in India, and while it was written almost thirty years ago, it's still relevant today. A must-read for any woman who considers herself a feminist in the Western world.
I found this a useful text in studying the craft of writing poetry.
An interesting story; I read it because I enjoyed his Goosebumps series, and while I enjoyed the plot, I'm not sure I liked it overall.
I was disappointed greatly by this book, and almost didn't finish it.
I LOVED this book! It's a creative new twist on a fairy tale, and definitely made me want to read more Gaiman.
I loved this book! I read it during my Harlem Renaissance course, and was delighted that Fauset wrote about a middle class African American family. The story is rich, and the writing style is entrancing.
While it's clear this novel was written to a very different purpose than Jane Eyre, I enjoyed it in its own right, and being able to look into the story of Rochester's mad wife. It's a wonderful accompaniment to Jane Eyre
A great collection of English literature! I find myself returning to the volume to read the pieces I didn't study in my college classes.
This was a wonderful continuation of the Thursday Nex series, but works as a stand-alone novel, as well. It maintained the standards Fforde established in his first novel. Very nice!
Whimsical, inventive, and fun, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass take the reader with Alice on an adventure that pushes the imagination to its limits.
