During this highly specialized experimental surgery, electrodes will be place in the patient's brain, sending monitored, soothing pulses to its pleasure canyons.

This one was pretty good. Very interesting and true to many minor details. The intermingling of the basic plot and medical information worked very well.

Meh. It was a fun read and typical medical thriller. The hard part was my constant mental comparisons between my knowledge of computer history and the stuff the author made up. He made it more interesting than it actually was but in the process, he kept breaking the fourth wall for me. I recommend it to someone who wants to relax with a nice, easy-to-read thriller without much mental commitment.
