a different type of story for picoult, but i enjoyed it all the same - masterful storyteller! keeps you turning the pages, that's for sure! |

One of Picoult's best. Well done. "The first time i tried to kill myself I succeeded, but not the second or the third"...or something along the lines of that is how the novel begins, first words. Enticing, and everything does come full circle...though one part of the ending was very far fetched, in my opinion. |

Despite my initial skepticism regarding the novel's content, Picoult's masterful storytelling and control of the plot successfully managed to maintain my suspension of disbelief from start to finish. My hat is off to her. |

I have friends who did not like this book but it is one of my favorite books by her. |
