I love Francine Rivers' historical fiction! She adds a lot of richness to some of my favorite stories and characters. This series is a favorite...I've read all of them at least twice.

Loved, Loved these books!! Hard to get into at first, but worth it. Haddasseh is such a Godly example of how to put your faith in Christ alone, and to not have the fear of man.

Mark of the Lion books
For anyone who likes historical fiction with a good Christian plot, these are awesome! From beginning to end of all three books, I couldn't put them down and was totally satisfied with how they were written and how the plot was developed. It is easy to read and moves right along. I seriously cried at the end of the first one, and I don't cry over books much. The stories are all tied together, the plot being just after 70AD when Rome took over Jerusalem. I truly felt as though I was in the book and could relate to everything going on because of how the author wrote it!
