Resurrection (Forgotten Realms: R.A. Salvatore's War of the Spider Queen, Book 6)
Paul S. Kemp
“Finding someone to finish a series after five novels from five different authors is no easy task. He’s got to be willing to find all the open roads the others have left for him. He’s got to do his homework, and quickly. And given the quality of his predecessors’ work, he’s got to be good . . . Enter Paul Kemp. Whew! Writers like this don’t come along every day.”

Wow. I thought they'd milked the Drizzt/Dark Elf thing dry with Salvatore's ongoing books, but this series set me wrong. Fantastic, from start to finish.
Please forgive me for being crude, but this series really, really sucked. I can't think of a single good thing to say about it.
Such an awesome series, but I was disappointed with the ending.. I really wanted Hallistra to slay Lolth. A happy ending would have been better..
This book and the whole War of the Spider Queen Series was a very excellent read. The story throughout the six books was very interesting and was easy to pull any forgotten realms fan in very easily. That said.... As climactic as the ending was I believe that it was poorly done and it almost ruined how great the previous books really were.
Wow this was a great book... until the end... it was somewhat dissapointing but the story was still very, very good. I can not reccomend this series enough. Once I started reading I could not put it down and since it is 6 books long that is something for me (I usually get tired of the characters after 3 books).... Do yourself a favor and read this series... now where are my d20's...
Amazing - written by an entertaining author for the sixth and final installation - bend your knees before the spider queen!
I'm not going to blame Kemp for all of the mistakes, since he didn't really have the final say...but this is by far the worst ending to a book series I have ever come across. I absolutely hated this novel.
Meh - they kill off all the best characters (except one) in the dumbest ways. I'm pretty sure that wasn't Paul's call though.
I loved everyone of these books, I would kill to colaberate with Salvatore on a series like this, Valas Hune is an amazing character. Who would have thought, an underdark ranger...
God, that was a terrible ending... R.A. Salvatore should have written it instead of this crack pot team =/ Simply bad plot to have *ALL* of your main characters die off one by one 'till you get to the last book... "and then there were none."
