Quote-leftThis was my very favorite of the "Wrinkle in Time" series, and I enjoyed even more sharing it with my children. This was the book we read at night during the two weeks of power outage following Hurricane Ike. Reading it by lantern light and then having a book discussion afterward was one of the best times ever!Quote-right

Quote-leftI loved this book in the series - it had such a lovely theme and (from what I remember) an interesting spiritual bent.Quote-right

Quote-leftits okay, a good book, but nothing compared to the other books in this series, there needs to be more empathetic attachment to the main characters that wasnt established before this book was written.Quote-right

Quote-leftBest of the series - especially good when you have a background knowledge of the flood story and the Nephilim.Quote-right

Quote-leftI actually liked this one better than 'Wrinkle in Time.' Maybe Meg is just too much of a whiner for me, but it was refreshing to have a book with the twins in the lead.Quote-right

Quote-lefti like the blend of theology and sci-fi... makes you think outside the box.. which is always a handy skillQuote-right

Quote-leftI liked that the twins, who didn't really fit in with their abnormal family, were the main characters in this book.Quote-right

Turn on all the lights and check under your bed. Things are about to get spooky in Trenton, New Jersey. According to legend, the Jersey Devil prowls the Pine Barrens and soars above the treetops in the dark of night. As eerie as this might seem, there are things in the Barrens that are even more frightening and dangerous. And there are monkeys. Lots of monkeys. more
