Quote-leftAn interesting read for those who have financial capital, may be intimidating for those who do not. Either way it definitely helps open one's eyes to what it means to be financially independent and how one can achieve that goal.Quote-right

Quote-leftAlthough I found the writing to be less than stellar (and very self-promoting of the author's career, especially his trademarked "Smart Women Finish Rich" seminar), and the editing was atrocious (I found a typo on every other page), I do think this is a MUST read for EVERY woman who wants to take control of her financial situation and become financially independent. The first part of the book goes through a lot of big picture planning about values and what money means to you, but then there are a few key chapters that very clearly define how you need to organize your finances in order to be financially prepared for the future. These parts are clear and concise and draw on the author's years of experience as a financial coach, giving lots of examples to drive the points home. Highly recommended if you are ready to take this topic seriously.Quote-right

Quote-leftAll women should read this, as I believe all women should be able to provide for themselves regardless of whether they are in a relationship or not. Depending on someone else to provide you with the life you want is a major mistake. Bach's book is an easy read for those of us with little to no financial expertise and is filled with useful websites and tips for further information. Most importantly, he lays everything out in a step-by-step process that if you apply, you will be well on your way to building the life you want.

I wish I had read it in my 20s instead of in my 30s.Quote-right

Quote-leftEvery woman should read this and then leave it lying on the tiolet for her husband to read. I will probably buy another general financial guidebook to correlate with Dave's advice and then come to my own conclusion so I'm not sticking to a "woman's guide" specifically. I am finding this book so motivating and inspiring as a young 20 something who's eager to be powerfully independant. I love the advice and have acted on retirement plans already and am paying myself first. I'm excited about the changes I am making in my life thanks to this easy read no non-sense book. :) Highly recommend to anyone!Quote-right

Quote-leftI am pretty sure this book changed my life. We'll see. Either way, incredibly informative and will only serve to benefit anyone who reads it -- including men! Also written very conversationally. I thought it was really fascinating!Quote-right

Quote-leftI highly recommend to all my female friends as they are finally earning money and not sure how to manage their money and plan ahead. Lots of great basics any person should know about saving and investing. Wise words by breaking it down by an average person's financial goals.

Realistically, it was written in 2003 and some advice (a lot about real estate & stock market) is outdated and needs to be more relevant to our country's current economic issues.Quote-right

Turn on all the lights and check under your bed. Things are about to get spooky in Trenton, New Jersey. According to legend, the Jersey Devil prowls the Pine Barrens and soars above the treetops in the dark of night. As eerie as this might seem, there are things in the Barrens that are even more frightening and dangerous. And there are monkeys. Lots of monkeys. more
