Quote-leftI was disappointed. The book was slow most of the way and I had a difficult time staying interested in what was going on. It seemed like all the detail in the middle of the book took too many pages and the great climatic ending was encapsulated in the final chapter. I feel like the trilogy lost steam. It probably happened during the 2nd book.Quote-right

Quote-leftIf you are into simple yet intense fantasy fiction - excellent for starters and well advnced - any thing by Russell Kirkpatrick is a great read, just follow the chronological orderbas it is important. The onlyu thing is that the very, very end is rather what can I say - a let down though it is great fun getting there.Quote-right

Quote-leftHmmm, not sure I'll be rushing out to buy the next series, Don't think the promise of the first vloume was lived up to in the concluding two.Quote-right

Quote-leftThe ending was odd but interesting. Unlike most books, it never seemed to peak but instead, plateaued threw the end of the book with only a minor down at the end. It left a lot open for later stories, though it looks like he will write about earlier events first.Quote-right

Quote-leftA carefully woven tale of a struggle between good and evil with biblical influences which I enjoyed. SjQuote-right

Quote-leftThis is the book where this trilogy stops being a well crafted knock off of the Lord of The Rings and really develops its own swagger.Quote-right

Quote-leftAn okay conclusion to the series, I went on to read this expecting a spectacular conclusion, though as it turns out my expectations were too high. Imagine the third volume of LOTR, except downsize it to about a 1/5 of it's quality in terms of story telling and writing style.Quote-right

Turn on all the lights and check under your bed. Things are about to get spooky in Trenton, New Jersey. According to legend, the Jersey Devil prowls the Pine Barrens and soars above the treetops in the dark of night. As eerie as this might seem, there are things in the Barrens that are even more frightening and dangerous. And there are monkeys. Lots of monkeys. more
