Just awful. If I'd read this when I was 12 I'd have loved it, but this is not a book for those who use joined-up writing. If you must read this I recommend sugar and caffeine to addle your reason enough to put up with its unrealistic characters, comic book scenarios, and typical (Dan dan Daaaaan!) Brown cliffhangers at the end of every chapters. Or you could recycle your copy into paper for real literature. (show less)

All of Dan Brown's books are exactly the same, just with different settings, and the very static characters simply have their names switched around from book to book. If you're going to read any of his books, choose one, and don't read another.

It could actually have been somewhat entertaining if Dan Brown had done even a modest amount of research into cryptography and computer science. Instead he made things up and based the foundation of the book on a false assumption. The information he needed is readily available and isn't in the slightest obscure. So, given the shear amount of work that goes into writing a novel it's amazing that he got lazy on some small amount of background research and forged ahead anyway.
And to top it off the last puzzle our heroes are to solve the reader is able to solve in seconds, but is forced to read through a half hour of bumbling.
Alas, if you liked The Davinci Code, which is a fun read, you might like this one, though probably not. (show less)

After Dooms Day Conspiracy, never has suspense be woven in such one warn. I just kept on turning the pages until the last leaf. Is very interesting and captivating. I loved it.
