There are many adventures as Englishman Nickolas Quenton-Harper and Egyptian archaeologist, Royan Al Simma challenge a ruthless German billionaire and the unforgiving, primitive world of the Nile River Valley in Ethiopia to find the treasure and final resting place of Pharaoh Mamose. To complete this task they must solve the puzzle of The Seventh Scroll, a puzzle set up by the slave Taita four thousand years ago. Beautiful, vivid description in this book and more twists and turns in this plot than a roller coaster. A thrilling ride! I was sad to have it end. (show less)

Also like most Wilbur Smith books it was well written and well researched. Although it dragged for a bit in the beginning it was very well worth the read.
