You have in mind what it is to be a Christian and then you read a book like this and realize there is much more to it. If you want to learn more about compassionate living and how we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus read this book. It can be very life changing IF you will allow it to be. (show less)

No, it's a flop!

Davis makes a few good points, but it's kinda preachy, and not particularly memorable, in my opinion.

  A very quick and easy read with some really good points for the church. It's very encouraging - a good introduction to the subject of compassion and some of the issues.

  Just finished reading this for the 2nd time. No doubt it will encourage you to sync up with God's heart for the widows, orphans, and strangers in our communities and throughout the world.
