  A read completely centered of the love of Jesus Christ and his absolute sufficiency! How cool to read a book about surrender that doesn't roughly say, "God's good, you're not, try harder!" The first chapter our Elder Brother used powerfully to speak to me through. Incidentally, I read it while eating at Taste of China Buffet (score!).

  Of the Murray books I've read, he seems to be a sibling that writes about the Lord no matter what he is writing on- he doesn't write about things like surrender, abiding, etc but writes about Christ as He relates to those matters. What a difference!

  If you're having problems surrendering to our Lord, even though you know you have every reason to trust Him and his desire of love for you are always throughout all He gives, then this book might prove to be an encouraging read. it was for me :)

  On a side note, this book is assorted spoken teaching or writings around the topic of surrender, so their is no need to read all of the book or even to read the chapters in order. (show less)

  Excellent read! Love the language and imagery. Insight to a more intimate and deeper relationship with the Lord. Written as if you could hear him preaching this from the pulpit. Awesome.
