Oscar Wilde is amazing, funny and the complete one volume gives you his works at the tips of your fingers.
Oscar Wilde. I have read probably all his plays, and stories, over the years. I haven't read all the poetry.
A book I always go back to.
Oscar Wilde is the greatest author who ever lived. The Nightingale and the Rose, The Picture of Dorian Gray, A Woman of No Importance, and Lady Windermere's Fan are probably my favorites, but I could read them all 12 times over and not get bored.
If you like oscar wilde you cant do without this book, it has everything, from poems and essays to his most famous plyas and ofcourse his novel The Picture of Dorian Gray
If any one is an admirer of Oscar Wilde and wants to read all of his works the Complete Works is it! I have the Complete Works and I have enoyed it immensely.
A true genius and if he was alive now he would have a talk show and not end his life in the tragic way that he did
Wilde is great! Beautiful poetic language, dark satire, good stories. I especially like A picture of dorian gray, most of his fairytales, ballad of reading gaol... pretty much everything.
Had to buy the British version since the American one wasn't available. Very worthwhile read, although there is a definite arc to his career, writing and otherwise.
Må jo sies at jeg har ikke lest hele eller rettere sagt alt. Men en del her og der. Boken tas frem innimellom og leses. Utrolig mye bra.
I've only read the short stories - not the plays or essays. They are amazing. I actually got goosebumps a couple of times. I would read them to my kids, if I had them - they're like quirky fables.
