I enjoyed this collection quite a bit. I'm not ordinarily a short story fan, but these little slices of life stay with you. He writes simply and beautifully about quirky people, places, and a situations.

This is a guy that besides all has one of the best minimalistic writing styles. Simple, subtle, but effective. You´ll be amazed. My recommendation...read the story of the same name.

In all his minimalistic glory, Mr. Carver blows my mind like no other.
