The second book of the series makes (as the first volume did) a very enjoyable and funny bedtime read.
For some reason I can't give this book a star rating. Yet another Facebnook problem!
An enjoyable light read. I liked the way it carrried on from the first book. It goes to show you can pick these books up at any time and still take up from where you finished.
Enjoyed the continuation of the theme - easy going, laid back you just wanna be there!!! Very readable!!
Just love these books. The tone is perfect, not like anything I have read before. Simple and honest but with great depth.
A beautifully written book that drew me in immediately and kept my interest all the way through without a great deal happening - Great characterisation means you don't miss a fast moving plot; in fact I think the story benefits.
Book 2 in the series about Mme Precious Ramotswe. a extremely sympathetic book, well written with charm and so entertaining it is hard to not read it all at once.
This is a delightful series. If you have the opportunity to listen to one of these as an audio, it will set the stage better because you will read future books with the accents of the characters in mind.
Enchanting style and voice once again. Not overly challenging, but it does gently tackle some of the big issues. I tried to read a “real” book first, but got sideswiped by life and retreated to this lovely book. Wonderful characterisations, and probably less action than the first book.
I Just loved this and am really wanting to read the rest.
I loved the humor and the goodness of the characters.
Again didn't actual read it but listened to the Audio book.
I loved this. I read it in a day. Beautifully written again. Im going to get the whole series I think.
