umm, i dont think so. I wish there was, but on Stephenie Meyer's website it says nothing about a sequel.

I wouldn't be surprised if she writes one eventually. I can't remember where, but I read somewhere that she said she may write a sequel for it someday. There's definitely enough there to work with to write something good. I think it's only a matter of time.

According to Wikipedia.com Stephanie Meyer said that there will be sequels, the first one is The Soul, and then the third book will be The Seeker.

Yeah, but you can't always trust Wikipedia... I really hope it's right this time, though - I want to read more!

I was worried too so I looked it up and watched a few interviews and such. Stephenie said she would really like to write a sequel or two and she has names (The Soul and The Seeker, like Gabby said) for them and ideas. She says she even set up ideas for the sequels and there are hints in The Host. So, hopefully, yes for the sequels! :] And YES, you should buy it for sure!

Ooh! I'd love for there to be a sequel, I hope it's true! I really got a feeling from this book that there was so much more to discover. The whole idea of a little hidden community in caves, really really appealed to me. I really hope that wikipedia is right about this one. : )
