I read this awesome 8-book series in 2004. Completed a book a month and it was a total experience. Like being immersed in the life of another time and learning the most interesting nuances of well-known American events, from the Revolution to the turn of the Century around 1900. A masterpiece from an excellent author. (show less)

The characters were vivid and it was enjoyable to put the faces of our founding fathers with their character's actions and quotes. This story also chronicles the most basic of human stories, who am I and where will I make my stand. This in by no means an ... (show more)
