One of her absolute best books in the series, this one finds a mysterious woman in black claiming to be Ranger's wife. As he is in the wind, Steph tries to figure out the mystery, then the action intensifies as Ranger's daughter is kidnapped. Joe Morelli, her on-again, off-again cop boyfriend, and Ranger, her hunky bounty hunter friend, are either there to save the day or to witness her amazing, and often hilarious, success. The books ...
